Terms of Service

Welcome to Lilac Lilac LLC, doing business as Lilac ("Lilac," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our cleaning services in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Offered
Lilac provides professional cleaning services, including:
- Residential cleaning (homes, apartments, condos)
- Small commercial cleaning (offices, retail spaces)
- Small medical facility cleaning (doctor's offices, dental offices)
We do not service large commercial buildings or industrial facilities. Our services are limited to the following cities in Texas: Dallas, Addison, Allen, Carrollton, Celina, Coppell, Fairview, Frisco, Lewisville, Little Elm, McKinney, Plano, Prosper, Richardson, and The Colony.
2. Booking and Scheduling
- Advance Notice: Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
- Confirmation: All appointments are confirmed via email or phone. Services are not guaranteed until you receive confirmation from Lilac.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours before your scheduled service time.
- Our Rescheduling: If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you at the earliest convenient time that meets your needs.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: We price our services per job based on factors such as property size, cleaning type, and frequency. All prices are provided in writing before you book.
- Payment: Payment is due before or immediately upon completion of the service. We accept credit cards via Stripe.
- No Deposits: We do not require deposits for standard bookings.
- Cancellation Fee: If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the scheduled service cost.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Property Access: You must provide access to your property at the scheduled time. You may provide us with keys or access codes, which we will securely store and protect.
- Pets: Pets must be kept away from the areas being cleaned during service. We are not responsible for any incidents involving unsecured pets.
- Valuables: Please secure all valuables, jewelry, cash, important documents, and fragile items before our arrival. Lilac is not responsible for damage to or loss of unsecured items.
- Cleaning Supplies: We provide basic cleaning supplies. If you prefer specific products or brands, you must provide them.
- Safe Environment: You are responsible for ensuring the property is safe for our team to work in (e.g., no hazardous materials, functioning utilities, clear pathways).
5. Liability and Insurance
- Insurance: Lilac Lilac LLC is fully insured for general liability.
- Damage Claims: If you believe damage occurred during our service, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate and, if our team is found responsible, will repair or reimburse the damage up to our insurance policy limits.
- Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by factors outside our control.
- Exclusions: We are not liable for loss or damage to unsecured valuables, items left in areas we were instructed not to clean, or damage resulting from faulty fixtures or appliances.
6. Dispute Resolution
We value your satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
- Informal Resolution: If you have a concern about our service, please contact us at contact@lilac.is or (214) 810-2802 within 24 hours.
- Mediation: If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
- Arbitration: Any disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation shall be settled by binding arbitration in Dallas County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
7. Service Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our cleaning services, please contact us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate recurring service agreements with at least 48 hours' written notice. Lilac reserves the right to refuse service or terminate our relationship with any client for any reason, including unsafe working conditions, disrespectful behavior toward our team, or repeated cancellations.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. SMS Messaging Terms (A2P/10DLC Compliance)
By providing your phone number to Lilac Lilac LLC, doing business as Lilac ("Lilac"), including through our website, booking forms, phone calls, or written communication, you consent to receive transactional and service-related SMS messages from Lilac at the number provided.
10.1 Types of Messages
Messages may include, but are not limited to:
- Appointment confirmations
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancellation notices
- Service reminders
- Post-service follow-ups
- Important service-related updates
Lilac does not send promotional or marketing SMS messages without explicit additional consent.
10.2 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services but is generally limited to messages necessary to deliver and manage your cleaning service.
10.3 Opt-In Consent
By submitting your phone number or booking services with Lilac, you expressly agree to receive SMS messages as described above. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Consent may also be provided verbally during a phone call with our automated or live representatives, including our voice assistant, Sarah, and such consent authorizes Lilac to send related transactional SMS messages.
10.4 Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying:
- STOP to unsubscribe
- HELP for assistance
After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you re-consent.
10.5 Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lilac is not responsible for carrier charges.
10.6 Data Privacy
Your phone number and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number for third-party marketing purposes.
10.7 Service Providers
Lilac may use third-party service providers to deliver SMS messages in compliance with A2P/10DLC regulations. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.
Carrier Disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10.8 Eligibility
You must be the authorized user of the phone number provided and at least 18 years of age to consent to SMS communications.
